A special evening awaits you at historic Honey Horn Plantation on Friday evening, September 24th as we celebrate this, the premier Art Gala in our community. We are planning an elegant evening of art and music under the stars with artists and friends while enjoying fabulous hors d'oeuvres and libations.

ISCA has funded nearly 2 million dollars to support arts programs in local schools. 
The Island School Council for the Arts (ISCA) is pleased to announce teacher grant funding for 2009-2010 with the goal of benefiting students in Southern Beaufort County public and private schools through the arts in education programs funded by ISCA.

Teachers may apply for this funding for special arts related projects. Plumb Scholarship Print E-mail

This modest grant is awarded annually to outstanding high school seniors for exceptional achievement in the visual arts, music, journalism, architecture or interior design. The scholarship is intended for those who will major in the arts in a four-year college.

The Island School Council for the Arts (ISCA) is pleased to announce the 2009 recipients of the Plumb Scholarship.  This scholarship is awarded to students of exceptional merit planning a career in the arts.  “The work and level of commitment of these students is to be commended,” said Linda Eigenmann, Plumb Scholarship chair. The following students will receive $500.00 to $1,000.00 for their 2009/10 college year.

Artists-In-Education Print E-mail

This program brings professional artists into the classroom for hands-on teaching of art. These residencies typically support the curriculum being studied or the arts curriculum of the district. New programming will bring artists into the greater community for exposure to more students.
