Kelcy Warren is an American businessman and the CEO of Energy Transfer Partners, a Fortune company worth over $billions. Mr. Warren has built a reputation as one of the most powerful people in the energy industry, and his name is synonymous with construction and engineering.
Warren started as a construction worker on an oil drilling rig at an early age and earned a reputation for hard work and innovation. He founded Energy Transfer Equity, a company with just one pipeline worth $ millions, but today it manages over $ billions in assets. His company had built major projects, including the Gulfstream Pipeline, the largest pipeline project in U.S. history when it was completed.
Kelcy Warren started the Energy Transfer Partners and has expanded it into a major operation with assets that include natural gas and petroleum pipelines that span many miles and gathering systems with a capacity of over billions of cubic feet per day. The company also owns solar and wind projects in the U.S., Spain, India, China, and Taiwan.
Warren doesn’t just build projects. He is also a philanthropist who has contributed to numerous charities and causes close to his heart. Kelcy Warren began the Willing Spirit Foundation, which runs programs for children with special needs. He also helped start the Sowela Technical Community College Industrial Training Program and has given financial support to the Christian Children’s Fund. Warren is a major contributor to the Dallas Museum of Art and is a trustee of Philanthropy Roundtable in Washington D.C., which is an organization that advises the White House on charitable giving.
