Serial entrepreneur Krishen Iyer is the owner and creator of MAIS Consultant, which is situated in Encinitas. The renowned businessman grew up in California and attended San Diego State University, at which he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. Iyer entered the insurance industry shortly after completing his college studies. The first business he started was with a friend, at the San Diego State Alumni Association.
He quit his job and explored the local insurance companies in order to identify career opportunities within the industry. HR studied at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he obtained a doctorate in Business Administration and International Human Resource Management. Krishen Iyer also began to teach as an adjunct professor at nearby California State University, San Marcos. In 1997 Iyer moved to New York City in order to pursue his academic career.
Since then the business expert has attended Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis on adolescent development and intelligence testing. In 2000 Krishen Iyer was officially appointed as an advisor to the National Academy of Sciences Committee.
