He serves on the board of directors for the Southern Economic Development Council, the National Automobile Dealers Association, and the advisory board for several start-up companies. Randy Douthit is a graduate of Auburn University. His knowledge and expertise in automotive sales propelled him to success. After years of dedication, Randy created his company and became a successful entrepreneur. He knows that hard work pays off and has proven that through every sale he has made throughout his career. Randy obtained his B.S. in Industrial Relations and his M.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University, accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

Career Highlights

In 1997, Randy founded Randy Douthit Enterprises. In 2002, he was named the Entrepreneur of the Year for Alabama and won a national award for the company’s development of a system that increases automobile sales. His work has been featured in Entrepreneurs magazine and on CNN radio, among others. In addition to producing and directing Judy Justice, Randy has made and directed The White House Candidates Debate 2008, which received an Emmy nomination in the first half-hour category. Before working on the debate, Randy was the director of the documentary The Path, which aired in March 2008 on PBS stations nationwide.

Randy DouthitHis success has contributed to the success of many others. He is currently involved in empowering young people and seeking to create a more fulfilling life. He has established the Randall Douthit Young Stars Foundation, which offers numerous scholarships for students who want to pursue their education at Auburn University. The foundation also holds an annual event for high school student entrepreneurs called Young Stars, which provides them with advice from successful entrepreneurs and business leaders.
