Ross Cameron proves you do not need a Wall Street job to succeed. He is much more than a proficient full-time day trader; he is also a family man and an aspiring homesteader. As a gearhead, he has a website called Tire Kickers dedicated to everything wheels. He is also an entrepreneur and teacher who educates people on daily stock trading on his website and YouTube channel, with over 1.13M subscribers.
The Struggle Before a Breakthrough
After losing his father to cancer in 2007, Ross struggled with fear and anxiety. Despite this, he returned to school the same year and worked at an architecture and design firm. Ross Cameron graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and then moved back home.
Ross got 100,000 dollars in inheritance and considered putting it in real estate, but after much consideration, he decided to invest in stocks, though he didn’t see any returns. It was when his old friend introduced him to penny stock, and Ross Cameron gave it a shot but ended up losing over 16,000 dollars.
Ross started his website in 2012 on anything day trading to capture his growth. Ross Cameron began a day trading chat room in 2014 and wrote a book, “How to Day Trade,” in 2015. He reviewed his patterns and realized smaller stocks were more profitable than large ones, so he invested 583.15 dollars in a new account. In 2 years, Cameron had made 1M dollars from that account, which went even higher in 2019.
His breakthrough was in 2020 when he started making over 100K dollars daily, and at the end of the year, he had made a gross profit of over 5M dollars. In 2021, things got even better when GameStop shares went from 20 to 500 dollars, and he managed to make about 900K dollars in a week. Right now, Ross Cameron has garnered over 10M in profit from trading.
At present, Cameron still trades full-time and enjoys mentoring people in stock trading. His website offers internship positions to college students. Ross has an updated edition of his book and is refurbishing the Castle Street Firehouse.
