Most people know fresh, clean drinking water is essential for good health. Yet many still don’t drink enough of it. Hufnagel believed that a great-tasting and healthy beverage could be made affordable, convenient, and environmentally friendly. He says, “I won’t use anything that has sugar; it’s not good for you. So, I found a natural, low-calorie sweetener, Stevia.” Hufnagel knew he wanted a refreshing drink that was naturally sweet and fruity and had no artificial flavors or preservatives. He adds, “I wanted it to be convenient. And I wanted it to be healthy, with no sugars, artificial flavors, or preservatives.” Not only that, but he also wanted it to be affordable and environmentally friendly.

  1. Magic Inside the Bottle

The solution was clear. Hufnagel needed to create an easy-to-use, one-touch beverage. He created a bottle with a unique easy, drinking method to do this. The bottle is filled with the drink mixture and then screwed on top of the cap, which remains closed for cleaning. There are no holes in the cap for dirt or dust to get in during shipping and storage. Yanni says, “The bottle we used is made to withstand the elements of transit and storage.” The final product was a natural, healthy beverage that tasted great and was affordable. Hufnagel wanted people to drink more water and believed that a naturally sweetened, refreshing beverage was the answer.

  1. The Customer Was Always Right

I said OK and designed a product that addressed every request.” The formula is made from fruit flavors, natural sweeteners, and other natural ingredients. Hufnagel says, “We wanted to make it a fun experience for consumers and retailers.” He believed that if the customers liked it, the retailers would want to carry it. Getting people into his stores was easy because he put just as much effort into supporting them as he did sell products. Hufnagel says, “I have always said that I am in this for the long haul.”
