Evan Rubinson is the founder of Koroit Capital and serves as a Managing Member of the firm. Mr. Rubinson has been an active participant in the private equity industry for over 15 years and has more than 20 years of investment and finance experience, having spent time on Wall Street at Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers, as well as at central European banks such as Credit Suisse First Boston. Currently, he oversees all aspects of operational management, including fundraising and general partner relations.

Mr. Rubinson is currently a member of the New York State Bar. Mr. Rubinson also serves as Co-Chair of the New York State Health Care Reform Committee, a group of healthcare investors that investigates and reports on the efforts to pass comprehensive healthcare reform in New York State. Mr. Rubinson is also Vice-Chair of the Committee on New York City Government Operations. This private-public partnership endeavors to bring increased transparency and accountability to the operations of the City government, as well as an active member of the Committee on Civil Justice. This private-public initiative seeks to improve the civil justice system in New York.

Mr. Rubinson began his professional career at Goldman Sachs & Co. in 1995. At Goldman Sachs, Mr. Rubinson initially served as an Analyst in the Investment Banking division, covering the Wholesale and Retail sectors for clients such as Best Buy Co., Inc., Lowes Companies Inc., Cabot Corporation, and R.H. Donnelley & Sons Company. He later became a Vice President in the fixed income division, covering sub-investment grade issuers such as WCI Steel Inc., Westinghouse Electric Corp., LTV Corp, RG Steel Co, and LKQ Corp, among others.

 

Evan Rubinson is a Managing Member of Koroit Capital, a private equity firm based in New York City. He also serves as Co-Chair of the New York State Health Care Reform Committee and Vice-Chair of the Civil Justice Committee. Previously, he was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs and a corporate lawyer at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
