Krishen Iyer, who is the Founder of Encinitas-Based Consulting Company, MAIS Consulting. He recently delivered a keynote speech at an event – “Talk Jobs, Not Hours” – where he emphasized on how individuals can take back control of their lives. The talk was hosted by the National Chamber Foundation.

 

It was supported by Accenture, AT&T and Boeing. Krishen Iyer’s key point was that there should be no correlation between hours worked and productivity. He also mentioned that there is an urgent need for people to work less to achieve a state of well-being in order for them to live life in its fullest sense. The audience enjoyed Krishen Iyer’s presentation immensely as they applauded enthusiastically after his speech.

He later talked about the journey he had to go through to found MAIS Consulting consulting firm. Serial entrepreneur Krishen Iyer is a former business consultant, motivational speaker and social activist 

 

He has spent the last 14 years doing community work for the benefit of children and education. Serial entrepreneur Krishen Iyer was also the founder of a nonprofit which tries to help the homeless by providing them with shelter, food and clothing (Hiboox).  

In 2009, Krishen Iyer started working on his own consulting firm where he provides business, leadership and motivational training to organizations across all sectors. He mainly helps organizations in improving their communication skills, initiating a culture change or acquiring knowledge to reach out to customers better. In 2011 he also began teaching at Colorado Technical University (CTU) as part of their Executive Master of Arts – Human Resources Management program.
