When Vermont native Ross Cameron was not making enough money in his job in New York City, he decided to try day trading. Sadly, his trading losses far outweighed his winners. He was losing so much money, he thought about going home.
Cameron decided to try to figure out a way to change the outcome he was getting. He focused on creating a winning investment system for two years and gradually he began to be successful. Ross Cameron eventually ended up making millions of dollars a year as a day trader. But he was not satisfied with just making money. Cameron decided he wanted to teach others how to do it.
What has made the success Ross Cameron enjoyed with day trading so unusual is he has not spent any time on Wall Street. He grew up in southern Vermont and earned a BA from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Cameron couldn’t find a job in Vermont because of the Great Recession.
So, he took a job with a design firm in New York. But the job didn’t pay enough, so he tried day trading. It worked out better than he ever dreamed. To keep track of how he learned to day trade, business leader Ross Cameron started a blog in 2012. He published ‘How to Day Trade’ in 2015.
A Life Of Leisure
These days, Ross Cameron lives in the Berkshires with his wife and two children. He relaxes by gardening, tinkering on antique diesel engines and sailing.
